Talofa O-A-Mai Oe Sole’s (Y’all are probably sick and tired of hearing me say this over, and over, and over again, but whatever).
This week was a whole lot better and my mind was kind of back on track this week so that is good. We did a whole lot of service and most of it was for some people where the wife claims that she will never join the church and where the husband will actually admit that he was at one point part of the church. Their names are Mike & Shae and they are super legit and easy to get along with/ joke around with so it was all fun! We were helping them get their basement all fixed up and finished so that someone could move into it soon. We worked on it for about 6 hours and there is still a good bit that needs to get done too, so Elder Moyers and I will most likely look at another time to go back by and help them with it. They set a deadline for themselves that ends this week. I think that the work that we have been able to do for them has gotten them to open up to us a whole lot so that is awesome because I definitely could see myself keeping in touch with them afterwards.
We have a baptism coming up this Saturday and it is for a 9 year old girl named Dezirae . The parents are both less-active members and she also has an older sister who was previously baptized; they are all really nice, and friendly. We dyed Easter eggs with our dinner appointment that we had last night and we also were able to share a nice Easter message off of Mormon.org called Because of Him. I encourage all of y’all when you get a couple of minutes to watch this video because it highlights the true meaning of why Jesus Christ did what he did for us, and it is very well done. If I recall it has only been out a week or maybe two, but it already has over 3 million views. Yes, it is that good! I would lastly like to say that I love each of y’all very much, and only wish the very best for y’all!
